113.18 MW Boco Rock Wind Farm

CWP Renewables manage the 113.18 MW Boco Rock Wind Farm on behalf of the owner, EGCO of Thailand, having first provided comprehensive asset management services throughout the construction period which brought the project online ahead of time and under budget. CWP Renewables identified the site and brought it through to Financial Close in June 2013, raising AUD 250 million from five international banks with EGCO as incoming equity. Boco Rock Wind Farm was constructed under an EPC Contract by GE-Downer consortium and consists of the following:

  • 58 units of GE Energy 1.7-100 wind turbines;
  • 9 units of GE Energy 1.62-100 wind turbines;
  • 33 kV/ 132 kV collector substation with two 135 MVA transformers; and
  • 25 km 132 kV transmission line through to Essential Energy’s Steeple Flat Zone Substation.

107 MW Taralga Wind Farm

CWP Renewables was engaged by Banco Santander in December 2014 to undertake construction management, community engagement and ongoing site operational management of the 107 MW Taralga Wind Farm. The project was constructed under an EPC Contract by Vestas A/S and including project financing from ANZ Bank, Clean Energy Finance Corporation and Danish Export Agency EKF. Taralga Wind Farm consists of the following:

  • 51 Vestas wind turbine units with a mix of 1.8 MW, 2 MW and 3 MW ratings;
  • 33 kV/ 132 kV collector substation; and
  • 38 km of 132 kV transmission line to Marulan Substation.
